Crystal Beauty Salon Institute

We are over on Bahu Patil Road, specifically in the Sunder Nagar area at C 1/7. It is a combination of a salon and a place where we teach others the trade. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. You’ll find chairs for the customers and a little area in the back where the students can practice their skills. It gets pretty crowded on weekends when everyone wants to get something done at the same time. There's usually a strong smell of hair products and tea in the air. We aren't a high-end spa with fancy robes or candles. It's a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to get a quick haircut or learn how to do threading and makeup. The mirrors have a few spots on them sometimes and the floor always has a bit of hair no matter how much we sweep. That’s just part of the daily job. We have been in Sunder Nagar for a while, so most of the ladies around here know us by name. It’s a friendly place, but we stay busy with the classes. Teaching takes up a lot of the morning hours before the regular customers start showing up. It is a simple life of scissors, combs, and teaching the next group how to use them. We just try to get the work done right for everyone who walks in.
