Crockery World

Our shop is tucked away in Deviram Mansion, right near the YMCA Club over in Nana Peth. It’s an older building, but it suits us just fine. We’ve got stacks of plates, bowls, and glasses everywhere you look. Honestly, sometimes there’s hardly any room to walk between the aisles because we keep getting new stock in. People come in looking for a very specific type of bowl or a set of mugs and we usually have to go digging through the back room to find it. Nana Peth is a crowded area, so it’s always lively and a bit loud outside. We’ve been selling dishes and kitchen stuff for a long time now. It’s not the most glamorous job, dusting off shelves and packing boxes with newspapers, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or anything high-tech like that. People just drop by when they need something for their kitchen or if they’re getting married and need a gift set. Sometimes things break during shipping and that’s just a frustrating part of the business we deal with. We try to keep our prices fair because we know everyone is watching their money these days. The Quarter Gate area is pretty easy to find once you know the landmarks. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a family-run kind of place, nothing too special, just a lot of crockery and a lot of familiar faces coming through the door.
