Codesh School is situated up in the hills of Panchgani. It’s a quiet place compared to the cities, which is something we all appreciate. We don't have a very long address, just the town name really, because everyone around here knows where the school sits. The air is fresh and we get plenty of rain during the monsoon season, which makes everything very green. We have a modest set of buildings where we hold our classes. It’s not a huge institution with thousands of students, so we tend to know most of the faces we see every day. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we’re very much a part of the local community. We keep a regular schedule from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes things get a bit slowed down when the fog rolls in thick, but we carry on. Our rooms are basic and functional. We don't go in for expensive decor or anything like that. It’s about the books and the lessons. The playground is a bit uneven because of the hilly terrain, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We’ve been part of the Panchgani landscape for a good number of years. It’s a simple life here at the school, focused on getting through the syllabus and making sure the building stays in one piece. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big claims. We just provide a place for kids to come and learn their subjects.
