Choice College Of Arts & Commerce

Karve Road is one of those places in Pune that never really sleeps. There’s always someone moving, a bus going by, or students looking for a snack. Choice College Of Arts & Commerce is tucked away right in that Kothrud area. We’ve been here for a good while, watching the city grow up around us. The building is pretty standard for this part of Pune. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of benches and the sound of chalk on boards. We have students coming from all over the city because the location is easy to get to, even if the traffic is a nightmare. It’s an arts and commerce college, so you see a lot of kids carrying accounts books or discussing literature in the hallways. We don’t have a massive campus with fancy lawns, but we have enough space for the classes and a small corner for the kids to hang out. Most of our staff are local people who have lived in Pune their whole lives. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be something we’re not. It’s just a place to get an education and move on with life. During exam time, the whole atmosphere changes and everyone gets a bit more serious. On regular days, we just deal with the usual grind of lectures and paperwork. It’s a busy, noisy, but honest place to be for any student in Kothrud.
