Child Family Counseling Clinic

Our clinic, the Child Family Counseling Clinic, is situated in 3 A Pritam Apartment on Karve Road in Kothrud. Since we are in an apartment building, it feels a bit more like a home than a regular doctor's office, which I think helps some of the families feel more at ease. It's a bit quieter here than the clinics right on the main road, though you can still hear the traffic from Karve Road if the window is open. We don't have those big white hospital lights; instead, we have some softer lamps and a few comfortable chairs where parents and kids can sit and talk. Counseling is a bit different from giving shots or medicine, so we spend more time just listening and talking through things. The office has a lot of bookshelves filled with stuff we’ve collected over the years, and there's usually a stack of paperwork on the desk that needs sorting. We don't have a fancy reception desk, just a small table where we check people in. Kothrud is a busy area, but once you step inside our unit in Pritam Apartment, things slow down a little bit. We see families who are going through some tough times or just need some help figuring things out with their children. It’s practical work, and we don't try to make it seem more complicated than it really is. We’re just here in the neighborhood for anyone who needs to stop by and have a chat.
