We’ve been running the Child Clinic here in Wadgoan Sheri for some time now. It’s a pretty standard setup, nothing too flashy or over the top. Most of our days are spent just seeing the local families from around the neighborhood who walk in when their kids aren't feeling great. You know how it is, one day it’s a cough going around and the next day everyone has a bit of a fever. We have a small waiting room where the chairs don't always match, and there's usually some old magazines on the table that nobody really looks at because they're on their phones. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to get around to it. It gets a bit noisy during the peak hours in the evening when parents are getting off work and bringing their little ones in. We just try to get through the appointments as steadily as we can without rushing anyone too much. Sometimes the kids are crying because they’re scared of a check-up, so we keep some stickers in the drawer to help calm them down a bit. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local spot where people come when they need someone to take a look at their child. We know the regulars by name and have seen a lot of these kids grow up over the years. It's just a regular part of the community here.
