We are based out at Gat No. 440/2 near Alandi Phata, right along the Pune-Nashik Highway in Chakan. If you know this area, you know it’s heavy with industry and big vehicles. The road is always busy with trucks moving goods back and forth. Our workshop and office are right in the thick of it. It’s a dusty place, and the noise from the highway never really stops. We do engineering work here, which means we are usually covered in a bit of grease or soot by the end of the day. Our tools are well-used and our desks are piled high with technical manuals and spare parts. It’s not a showroom. It’s a place where things get built and fixed. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving between machines and the drafting table. The weather in Pune can be unpredictable, so we’ve seen our share of muddy days around the yard. We usually have the radio on to keep us company while we work on various components. Most of the people around here are also in the manufacturing or transport business, so we speak the same language. We aren't big on formal meetings; we usually just talk over a cup of tea while looking at whatever part we are working on. It’s a straightforward life. We focus on the metal and the mechanics and try to do an honest day’s work.
