Ceekay Tools

Ceekay Tools is right in the middle of Raviwar Peth at 1028 Laxmi Road. If you know Pune, you know how incredibly crowded and loud this area is. It is the heart of the old city trade. Our shop is not very large, but it is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of tools and hardware. We have been here for a long time, and the building itself shows its age, but it is sturdy. Finding a place to park is almost impossible, so most of our customers come on foot or on two-wheelers. We spend our days pulling boxes off high shelves and talking to all kinds of people, from local handymen to shop owners from other parts of the city. It is a very traditional way of doing business. We do not use much technology here, maybe just for the basic stuff. Most things are written down or remembered. The air is always full of the sound of bells from the temples nearby and the honking of horns. It can be exhausting, but it is also full of life. We know most of the other shopkeepers on Laxmi Road, and we often share tea or talk about how the market is doing. We do not try to be anything we are not. We are just a tool shop in a very busy market, doing our best to help people find the specific wrench or hammer they need. It is a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is located.
