Cadd Centre

You can find us at Survey No 49/2 on Puna Shimada Road, right near Yogi Chok in the Dukirkline area. It is a bit of a specific spot to get to, but once you’re here, it is a straightforward place for learning and design work. We have a set of rooms filled with computers where we teach people how to use various CAD tools. The road outside can get pretty busy with all the traffic heading towards the main parts of town, but inside it is mostly just the sound of clicking mice and fans running. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. Nobody wears a suit here. We are usually just in our regular clothes, moving from desk to desk to see how the students are getting on with their projects. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when a new batch of people starts and everyone has the same questions. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of people come through and go on to get jobs in the industry. It’s a practical setup without any unnecessary frills. We focus on the screen and the software. If a machine breaks down, we fix it. If someone is stuck, we show them the shortcut. It is just a regular daily grind that we’ve grown to enjoy over the years while watching the area grow around us.
