Our place is located at Gate No. 304 on the Pune Nagar Road in Kondhapuri. Burckhardt Compression India Pvt. Ltd. is a big name, but on the ground here, it’s just a lot of us working on large machinery. The facility is pretty sprawling, and it’s always buzzing with the sound of compressors and heavy lifting. We spend our time making sure these massive systems are built right and shipped out to where they need to go. It’s a lot of technical work, and we have to be careful with the details. The road outside is always busy with traffic moving between Pune and Nagar. Being in Kondhapuri means we have a bit of space, which we definitely need for the kind of equipment we handle. It isn't a quiet office job; there's always something being loaded or a machine being tested. We wear our uniforms and safety gear every day. It’s hard work, but we’ve got a good crew who knows what they’re doing. We don’t spend much time on fancy speeches. We just look at the drawings and get the assembly done. The sun can beat down pretty hard on the yard, but that’s just part of the job. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the plant has become a bit of a landmark for people driving by. We keep things running as best as we can every single day.
