Bombay Tool Centre

If you head down to Raviwar Peth at Landewadi Chowk, you'll find us inside the Kamath Industrial Complex. Bombay Tool Centre is basically a place where we keep all the equipment that local builders and mechanics need. The shop is at number 21. It can get pretty loud around here with all the other units in the complex, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our mornings unpacking crates and checking our inventory. There are shelves everywhere filled with different types of tools. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because we have so much tucked away. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's more of a functional space where work gets done. My hands are usually a bit greasy from handling the hardware, but that’s part of the trade. We have been in this spot for quite some time. People stop by to pick up stuff for their projects or just to see what new stock arrived. The lighting isn't the best in the back corners, but we know where everything is. It is a practical business. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a reliable one for the guys working in the industrial area. We keep things simple and just focus on getting the right tools to the right people. It is just how we run things every day.
