Bombay Hardware Stores

Our shop, Bombay Hardware Stores, is located at 406 Ganesh Peth in the Mayuresh Park area. It’s not a very big space but we try to keep it packed with whatever people might need for their homes. If you walk in, you’ll see boxes of nails, different sizes of screws, and plumbing pipes stacked up in the back. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and the walls are a bit stained from all the metal and dust. Ganesh Peth is usually quite busy with traffic, so it gets loud during the day. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or their tap started leaking and they need a quick fix. We spend a lot of our time looking for small parts in those tiny plastic drawers. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags of cement or carrying pipes out to someone’s vehicle. The floor is concrete and stays a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep it. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and a calculator that’s seen better days. It’s just a regular hardware store where we help you find the right bolt for a chair or a new lock for the front door. We know most of the plumbers around here too, and they often stop by for a chat.
