Bjs College

Bjs College is out on the Pune Nagar Highway, right by Vakori Road in the Wagholi area. Since we are near the highway, there is always a lot of movement around here. It’s a big spot for students coming from across Pune and the rest of Maharashtra. The campus has been here for a long time and you can tell by some of the older buildings. We have plenty of classrooms and a big area where the students hang out between their lectures. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re living in the main city, but the buses run pretty regularly. We handle a lot of different subjects, so you see all kinds of students walking around with different books. The office is usually busy with people asking about their marks or turning in forms. It gets dusty because of the road nearby, so we are always sweeping the floors. The canteen is where most of the noise is. It’s not a high-end place, just a regular college where people come to get their degrees. We have some trees around the grounds which give a bit of shade during the summer months. Most of the staff has been here for years and they know the routine inside out. It’s a practical place for learning and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. Just a solid college on the outskirts of Pune.
