Bj Govt Medical College

Our place is right near the Pune Railway Station, so you can always hear the trains whistling and the constant hum of the city. If you walk down Bj Medical Road, you can’t miss us. It’s an old building with a lot of history etched into the walls. We see thousands of people every day, some coming for treatment and others just passing through the busy station area. It’s a bit crowded and noisy, but that’s just Pune for you. The corridors are long and a bit dim in some spots, and there’s always someone looking for a specific department. Most of the staff have been here for decades. We’ve seen students turn into senior doctors and then retire. It’s a cycle that never stops. The tea shops around here do good business because of us. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so bad it takes forever just to cross the street. We don't have fancy lounges or anything like that. It's a government college, so things are functional and plain. People come here because it’s a landmark. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s a lot of work, and the days feel long, especially when the humidity picks up. But at the end of the day, we’re just a part of the city’s furniture, sitting right there by the tracks and watching the world go by.
