Interiors

We run Interiors out of Shaila Appartment, Flat No. 08. It’s on the Bibewadi Kondhwa Road, right in the Bibvewadi area. Working from an apartment is a bit different than having a big storefront on the busy street. It’s more of a personal space where we keep our samples and drawings and calculators. The road outside can get quite jammed during rush hour, as it’s a main link between neighborhoods. We’ve been in this flat for a while now. It’s a bit cluttered with catalogs and fabric swatches, but we know where everything is kept. Clients usually come by to look at designs or just to talk through their home ideas. Since it’s Flat 08, people have to come into the building and find us on our floor. The apartment building itself is a typical one for this part of town, with a bit of wear and tear. We hear the noises from the street all day long. Bibvewadi is a busy suburb, so there is always something going on outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights. It’s just where the actual work happens. We drink a lot of tea while looking at floor plans. Sometimes we are out on sites more than we are in the office. It’s just a small team of us trying to get things done. We’ve grown used to the layout of the flat. It serves us well for what we need to do.
