Unik The Lals

Unik The Lals is actually run out of Ambiience Antilia, over in C-wing, Flat No. 203. Being in Bavdhan Khurd, it’s a bit different than having a regular storefront on a main road. You have to come through the main gate and take the lift up to the second floor. The flat is pretty much taken over by the business now, with boxes stacked in the hallway and the dining table used for paperwork and checking stock. It’s a bit cramped, but it works for what we do without the overhead of a big commercial space. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing things that need to be sent out. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down when we’re moving things in and out of the C-wing. Bavdhan Khurd is a growing area, so there’s always some construction noise in the distance, but inside the flat, it’s usually just the sound of the fan and the computer. We don't have any big signs outside, just the name on the door and our own routine. It’s a very personal way to run things, and sometimes the cat even gets in the way of the packing. We just make do with the space we have and keep things moving. It’s not your typical office, but it feels like home because it actually is one. We get our shipments ready in the afternoons and wait for the courier to arrive at the gate.
