You can find us right across the street from the Rmd Sinhgad Institute. Baumer India has been at this particular location for quite some time now. It’s a very helpful landmark because almost everyone in the area knows the institute. Our building is pretty straightforward and functional. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist or a water feature. When you walk through the front door, you’ll likely see some cardboard boxes stacked up for shipping and a few people busy at their desks. We deal with technical components, mostly sensors and different things that go into industrial machines. It’s very specific, detailed work. We spend a lot of our time looking at data and technical drawings on our screens. The team here is small, but we’ve worked together for ages and know our roles well. We don’t do those big corporate retreats or have those glossy motivational posters on the walls. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and then head home. The area around here is usually buzzing with students, so it feels quite lively during the day. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the small food vendors right outside the gate. Our office setup is purely functional. We have a few rooms for meetings, but they are mostly used for looking at parts rather than making big presentations. We try to stay organized, but some days are more hectic than others.
