Balaji Marbles

If you know the Mundhwa Railway Over Bridge, you can find Balaji Marbles pretty easily. We are at Survey No 56, right opposite the Shiv Ratna Hotel. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic, especially with the trains passing nearby. I’ve been running this yard for some time now. We keep a lot of marble slabs out in the open. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means. It’s just a patch of land where we stack the stone. People usually stop by after eating at the hotel across the street or when they are passing through Mundhwa. We get all sorts of customers, some looking for a single piece for a small repair and others doing a whole house. I try to be honest about what each type of marble is like. Some stain easy, some are tough as nails. I’d rather tell you the truth than have you come back later complaining that the stone didn't work for your kitchen. The sun can be quite hot out here in the yard, so we usually have some tea under the shade while looking at the pieces. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We don’t do much advertising at all. People just see the piles of stone from the road and pull over. That’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work out fine for everyone involved. We just take it day by day.
