You can find us over at Canrich Arcade on MG Road. We’re up on the first floor in suite 102. MG Road is always a bit of a scramble with people shopping and walking around, but once you get inside the arcade, it’s a little more settled. We’ve been running this hair dressing academy for a while now, teaching people the basics and the harder parts of cutting and styling. It’s a busy space because there’s always someone practicing with shears or learning how to handle different hair types. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish; it’s more about the actual hands-on work. Students come in, grab their kits, and we spend the day going over techniques. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and focusing on the details. The building itself is an older one, which gives it a bit of character compared to the newer malls. We like being centrally located because it’s easy for everyone to reach us by bus or rickshaw. There’s a lot of noise from the street below, but we’re used to it. We just focus on making sure everyone who walks through that door learns something useful about the trade. It’s a practical environment. No one puts on airs here; we’re just here to work and learn.
