Asc College

We are right across from the Indapur Municipality building. If you are driving on the National Highway No. 09, you can’t miss us. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or school. The college has been here for a while now. Most of us here grew up in or around Indapur, so we know the area pretty well. The building itself is straightforward, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. We have classrooms and a bit of space for students to hang out between their lessons. It gets quite hot in the afternoons during the summer months, but that's just how it is in this part of Maharashtra. We spend a lot of time keeping things running, fixing desks, or making sure the water coolers are full. People usually walk in or arrive on bikes. There is always a lot of noise from the street, but once you get inside, it’s a bit quieter. We see a lot of the same faces every day. It feels like a small community here. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and carry on with what needs doing. We don't have a big team, just enough of us to look after the students and keep the place open. The walls need a new coat of paint in some places, and the gates squeak a bit when you open them. We just deal with those things as they come up while handling the daily paperwork. It's just how we work here.
