Areeba Clinic

Our clinic is located at Shop No. 6 inside the S Y Apartment complex in Somji, Kondhwa. Being inside an apartment building means we see the same neighbors every day going about their business. The shop is small, so we have to be very organized with where we put things. There’s a small desk near the door and some chairs lined up against the wall. The hallway outside can get a bit loud with kids playing or people carrying groceries to their flats. We like being part of the building community though. The lighting inside is a bit dim because there aren't many windows, so we keep the door open most of the time to let light in from the corridor. We have a small cupboard for medicines and a little screen for privacy. It’s not a fancy medical suite, just a regular shop space converted into a clinic. People from the S Y Apartments and the buildings nearby usually just walk over. We don’t have a lot of equipment, just the basics. Kondhwa can be a busy area, but our corner in the apartment complex stays relatively tucked away. We spend our time checking on people and chatting about the neighborhood news. The rent goes up every couple of years, but we’ve managed to stay here quite a while. It’s just a small, practical place for the people living around Somji to visit.
