Up in Manchar at B-7, you’ll find us at Anand Agencies. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but this area has its own rhythm. We handle distribution and agency work, which basically means we are always surrounded by crates and delivery slips. The unit B-7 isn't huge, but we make the most of the square footage we have. There’s a desk near the front where we keep the main ledger and the phone. The phone rings a lot, usually people asking where their delivery is or when the next batch is coming in. Manchar is a place where people still take their time to talk, so a five-minute business call often turns into a ten-minute chat about the rains or the local market prices. We have a small loading area out front. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble to get the trucks in and out when the road is busy. The air here feels a bit different than the crowded city centers, which is nice. We don't have any corporate uniforms or anything like that. Just regular clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of dust on. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things depending on what we are moving that week. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day.
