Aman Setu School

Aman Setu School is located at Survey No 1424 on the Lohgaon Wagholi Road. We are out in Wagholi, which is part of Pune, 412207. The area used to be much quieter, but now there is more traffic and buildings coming up around us. Our school sits on a decent bit of land. We have spaces where the children can be outside and get some fresh air. It isn't a stiff or formal kind of environment. We like to keep things grounded. The buildings are simple and we try to use the natural surroundings as much as possible. Pune weather can be nice, so we spend a lot of time with the doors open. We don't have a lot of corporate rules about how things should look. If a wall gets a bit scuffed, we just leave it until the end of the term. The focus is more on what the kids are doing. There are gardens and spots for them to explore. It’s a bit of a drive for some people coming from the main city, but the road is straightforward. We have a small team here and we all know each other’s names. It feels very local. We just do our best to provide a space where things are honest and simple. No big promises, just a daily routine that involves a lot of interaction and practical work. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We keep it simple.
