Our place is an industrial unit located at S.No. 83/23 in Sant Dnyaneshwar Colony, which is over in the Shastri Nagar area near Kothrud Depot. It’s a bit of a working neighborhood with a lot of small units like ours tucked away in the lanes. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the place has a very lived-in feel to it. The walls are a bit dusty and there are always stacks of materials lying around, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office or a reception desk. Usually, someone is just working at a bench or handling the machinery when you walk in. We see a lot of people from around Kothrud who need various things done. We aren’t big on talking ourselves up; we just focus on the task at hand. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, and we know most of the other people working in the nearby units. We often stand outside for a bit of air and a chat with the neighbors when the machines are off. It’s a straightforward business with no frills. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to do our work and make sure it’s done the way it should be. It’s a practical life, and being in Shastri Nagar feels like being right in the middle of where things actually happen. We’re just regular folks doing our daily jobs.
