We are located in Pune, right in the 411001 zip code area. It’s a pretty central spot, so getting here isn't too hard for most people. Working at a polytechnic means things are often a bit more hands-on than a regular degree college. You’ll see students carrying around tools or working on projects that involve a bit of mess. The labs are the busiest parts of the building, and they usually have that distinct smell of oil or metal. We don't have those plush carpets or silent corridors you might find elsewhere. It’s more about the sound of machines and people discussing how to fix something. The staff is a mix of older experts and some younger assistants who are still learning the ropes. Pune is a great city for this kind of work, and we feel like a small part of the local scene here. Our offices are full of blueprints and technical manuals rather than fancy art. Sometimes the schedules get a bit mixed up, but we always figure it out by the end of the day. It is a very practical environment. We don't really bother with long speeches about our goals. We just focus on making sure the equipment works and the students are actually learning something useful. At the end of the shift, we lock up the workshops and head home like everyone else in Maharashtra. It is just a regular place for regular work.
