Aft Production

Our place is located in Kondhwa Khurd, specifically at Angirasa on the 3rd floor. It’s part of the Malleshpalya Extension area, right on 12th Main in Maruthinagar. It’s a bit of a climb to the third floor, but the view is alright. We do production work here, which means the place is usually a mess of cables, cameras, and lights. There is always someone editing something on a big monitor in the corner. We have these heavy curtains to keep the light out when we are filming or looking at footage. It gets a bit stuffy in here during the summer, but we have a couple of fans going. We aren't some big studio with a lot of money. We just have the gear we need and the space to use it. Most of the people who work here have been doing this for years. We know which lights flicker and which chairs are the most comfortable. Sometimes we spend all day just trying to get one shot right. People come by for meetings and we usually just offer them water because the tea runs out fast. It’s a working studio, not a showroom. There are half-empty bags of chips and old scripts lying around. We like it this way. It feels like a place where things actually get made. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s quiet enough for recording. We try to keep the noise down for the neighbors.
