Our place is in Pune, specifically in the 411052 area, which is a busy part of Maharashtra. Abhinav College Of Engg is a place where we focus on the technical side of things. It’s an engineering college, so you can imagine there is a lot of talk about machines, computers, and drawings. The hallways are often filled with students carrying large bags or looking at their phones between lectures. We don't go in for fancy talk or complicated descriptions of what we do. It is just a school. The labs have their own specific smell, a mix of old oil and electronics, which is pretty common for a place like this. We spend our days making sure the equipment works and that the professors have what they need for their labs. It can get pretty stressful around exam time, with everyone staying late and drinking too much tea. We have seen the city of Pune grow a lot around us, and the traffic has definitely gotten worse, but the college stays pretty much the same. It’s a solid building with a lot of history. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the world, just a reliable one where people can actually learn something useful. Our office handles the usual stuff like transcripts and fees without much fanfare. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We just keep the doors open and the lights on for the next batch of engineers.
