Aamdar Masale Private Limited

Aamdar Masale is based out of G No 471 in Rase, which is in the Khed region. It’s a fairly rural spot, surrounded by fields and open land. We focus on making masale, which are the spice mixes that everyone needs for their cooking. The air in our facility is always thick with the scent of roasted spices like coriander and cumin. It’s a very practical place. We have machines for grinding and tables for sorting through the raw materials. We don't have any fancy decorations or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in our working clothes, covered in a bit of chili powder or turmeric. The weather in Khed can be quite harsh, with hot summers and heavy rains, so we have to make sure our spices are stored properly so they don't lose their strength. We work with a small group of local people who know the trade. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. We just all chip in where needed, whether it's loading the bags onto the truck or cleaning the grinders. It's a tough job sometimes because of the spice dust and the heat, but it’s what we do. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy brochures. We just rely on the fact that people need good spices for their daily meals. It's an honest way to spend the day and we like the work.
