A 1 Ameen Educational And Medical Foundation College Of Engineering

Our college is out in the MIDC area of Chandoli, specifically in Block D 1 of the Sharad Campus. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of activity around Pune 410503. The engineering students stay busy with their projects and the labs. It’s a big campus and you can see the different departments spread out. We have a lot of machinery and equipment because that is what engineering needs. The air feels a bit different out here than in the middle of Pune city. It’s more spread out. We spend our days making sure the schedules are followed. Sometimes the labs are noisy and other times the halls are completely silent during lectures. The canteen is where most people end up during the afternoons. It isn't a five-star place but it gets the job done. We have students living nearby or commuting from the city. The staff mostly keeps to themselves in the faculty rooms when they aren't in class. It’s a lot of work running an engineering college so things are always moving. We don't have time for fancy talk. We just provide the space and the tools for the students to learn their trade. The building has a lot of stairs and the sun hits the courtyard pretty hard in the afternoons. It’s just a regular engineering college life and we are okay with that. It is all about the work.
