Midas Granites

Midas Granites is located over in Post Office Killukkottai. We are in the Kulathur Taluka of Pudukkottai District. Being near the Kulathur Railway Station makes it easy for people to find where we are. We have been working with granite for quite some time now. The yard is usually full of different stones we’ve collected. It’s a bit out of the way, but we like the quiet of Killukkottai. Most of our day is spent outside checking the slabs and organizing the deliveries. We don't use any fancy systems, just our notebooks and some hard work. The weather here can be quite humid, so we take breaks when we can. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us making sure things run smoothly. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we just like doing what we do right here in Pudukkottai. Sometimes the trains at the station make a lot of noise, but it’s a sound we’ve gotten used to. People from the nearby villages know us well. We don't have a polished showroom, just the actual stone out in the open. It feels more real that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of the country. We start our mornings with tea and then get right to sorting through the granite inventory.
