Kvm Farm

If you go down to No. 117 Mayandi Swami Nagar in Thiruvappoor, you’ll find Kvm Farm. It’s a place that feels a bit tucked away, which is how we like it. The air is a bit fresher out here than in the middle of the city. We’ve got a bit of land and some sheds where we keep everything. It’s not a showpiece farm; it’s a working one. There are always chores to do, from fixing a fence to checking on the crops. We don't have a big staff, mostly just family and a couple of helpers from around the area. We get up when the roosters start and usually finish when it gets too dark to see. The house is right there too, so work and life kind of blend together for us. We don't use any fancy management systems. We just remember what needs doing and we do it. The road to Mayandi Swami Nagar can be a bit bumpy after the rains, so you have to drive slow. We sell what we grow to the local markets. It’s a modest living, but it keeps us fed and happy. People stop by to buy things directly sometimes, and we usually have time for a quick chat. Kvm Farm is just our way of life. We don't plan on changing much, as long as the rain keeps coming and the soil stays good.
