Nikita Containers P. Ltd, is located on Vazhudavur Road, specifically at Rs.No. 16/3 and 16/4 in Kurumbhapet Village. It’s out near Iyyankuttipalayam. The drive out here is pretty familiar by now. We spend most of our time out on the floor. It’s a big space but it fills up fast with containers of all sizes. The humidity gets to you some days, but we’re used to it. We just keep the water bottles close and keep moving. It’s a lot of routine. You check the lines, you check the output, and you do it again. We aren’t big on fancy titles here. Everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out, maybe grab a snack. The neighbors are mostly other industrial shops and some small patches of green. It’s quieter than the city but still busy in its own way. We deal with trucks coming in and out at all hours. Loading can be a pain when it’s raining hard. We’ve got some old machines that need a bit of extra care, but they still get the job done. It’s not a perfect operation, but we put in the hours. Most of us have been here a long time. We know the smells and the sounds of the place like our own houses. It’s just how we make our living out here. We don't overthink it, we just do it.
