We are D.S. Metals Pvt. Ltd. and although our name mentions Chennai, this particular office is located in Pondicherry. You can find us at No. 2, New No. 101 on 4th Cross Street in Thendral Nagar, over in the New Saram area. It is a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it’s a good spot for us. We handle metals and industrial work, so our space is very much focused on the utility of things. It is not a place for fancy furniture. We have heavy desks and plenty of storage for the records we need to keep. Pondicherry has a different pace than Chennai, and we quite like the atmosphere here. Our staff are local people who know the metal business well. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and customers. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the nature of the work, but we don't mind. We aren't trying to win any design awards for our workspace. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the metal gets where it needs to go. We have been in this location for a good stretch now and we’ve become part of the local industrial scene. It is a no-nonsense environment. We talk straight and we expect the same from others. It is just a group of people working hard in the metal trade, making sure the business stays healthy and the paperwork stays up to date.
