Maya Traders

Maya Traders is tucked away at 42, 2Nd Cross Street in Ramji Nagar. It’s over by Madukarai Post. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now. The street is usually pretty quiet, which we like. It’s a residential area mostly, so we try not to make too much noise. Our shop is just a basic building with a small yard. We keep our inventory there. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. Just a place where we do our trading. My father started this and now I’m running it with my cousin. We know most of the people on 2Nd Cross Street. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s not too hot. We don’t have a website or a big social media presence. We just rely on people knowing where we are. Ramji Nagar is a good place to be. We get our mail at the Madukarai Post office just down the way. Every morning we open the gates and start sorting through what came in. It’s steady work. We don't have any big slogans. We just sell what we have and buy what we need. Maya Traders is just a simple family business. We’ve had the same phone number for twenty years. It’s nothing fancy, just a way to make a living for our families. We appreciate the people who have stuck with us all this time.
