French Tution Center

You can find us over at No 9 on Cardinal New Mann Street in Pondicherry. We are right in the Colas Nagar area, which is a place many people around here know well. We started this French Tution Center because there seemed to be a lot of students needing help with their language classes. Pondicherry has that history with French, so it makes sense to have a place like this here. It is not a big school with a hundred rooms. We just have a small space where students can sit down and go over their grammar and verbs without too much noise. The street outside is usually okay, not too loud most of the time. We spend our afternoons here mostly. When school lets out, the place gets a bit more crowded with kids bringing their textbooks and homework. We don't have any flashy signs or big posters everywhere. It is just a plain room with enough chairs for everyone who shows up. Teaching a language takes a lot of patience, and we just take it one day at a time. Sometimes we sit and drink tea between the sessions while waiting for the next group. It is a very local kind of thing, nothing like those big corporate coaching centers you see in the main city. We just like living in Pondy and helping the local kids get through their French exams. That is pretty much all there is to it. We keep things simple and honest.
