Armtas & Canas

Armtas & Canas is located at No 54, Labourdonnais Street in Pondicherry. We are right near the fire station, which makes us easy to find if you are wandering around this part of town. It’s an old neighborhood and the streets can be quite narrow and busy during the day. We have been here for a while now, just doing our thing. It is not a very big shop, just a regular space where we handle our daily business. My family and I run the place and we are usually here from early morning until the evening. The fire station is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. Some people just stop by because they are passing through 605003 and see our sign. We don't have any fancy waiting areas or air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a practical spot. The street gets a bit noisy with the traffic and the sirens sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand. There is no big corporate story here. We are just local people trying to make a living in Pondicherry. Most of our neighbors know us by name. If you are ever on Labourdonnais Street, you will likely see us there. It’s a quiet life for the most part and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
