Le Boulevard

Le Boulevard is situated inside the Atithi Hotel on S V Patel Salai in Pondicherry. We are near Ajantha Square, which is a pretty well-known spot in town. Being at No 126 means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to the beach or the city center. The hotel environment keeps us on our toes because guests expect their meals at certain times. We spend our mornings setting up the dining area and making sure the kitchen is ready. Pondicherry has a specific kind of weather, often very hot and sticky, so we try to keep the restaurant cool. The street outside is usually full of scooters and tourists. We see a mix of people, from locals living in Pondicherry to travelers staying at Atithi Hotel. It is a straightforward operation. We don't have a big marketing team; we just focus on the daily tasks of running a restaurant. The staff has been here for a bit, and we know how to handle the busy weekend crowds that come from Chennai and other places. It is just a part of the local scene here. We do our best to keep things tidy and get the food out without too much of a wait. It is a lot of hours, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and get on with the job of running the place.
