Anamica International Building Materials

We are located right on Muthumariamman Kovil Street at number 132. Anamica International Building Materials has been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time. It is a local spot where people come when they are fixing up their houses or starting a small project in the area. The street can be quite narrow, especially when the delivery trucks try to squeeze in and park. We have bags of cement, bricks, and all sorts of hardware piled up inside the shop and near the entrance. It is not the cleanest place because of all the dust from the building supplies, but we try to keep it organized enough so we can find things when someone asks. My cousin and a few helpers are usually around to move the heavy stuff for the customers. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here on the corner. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to keep everything dry, so we are always moving tarps around to cover the cement bags. It is just a regular shop where we sell what people need for their construction work. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next customer to walk in and tell us about their project. It is a simple life and we like being on this street. The temple nearby means there is always a bit of life and noise around us, which keeps things interesting during the long, hot afternoons.
