Amisa

Amisa is located at No 65, right inside or next to Hotel Aksharadha on West Car Street. We are in Villianur, which is a part of Pondicherry with the 605110 zip code. The biggest landmark near us is the Sivan Temple. Because of the temple, West Car Street gets very crowded during festivals and on weekends. You can hear the temple bells from our doorway sometimes. We are a small operation, and we do not have any big corporate goals. We just show up at West Car Street and do what needs to be done. The building is old-fashioned, like much of Villianur. We do not have air conditioning that works perfectly all the time, so it can get a bit humid inside. We use simple wooden furniture and the walls have a few scuffs here and there. It is just a real place where real people work. We do not have a marketing person writing this for us. We are just writing it ourselves to let you know where we are. If you walk toward the Sivan Temple, you will likely see Hotel Aksharadha and find us there. It is a quiet kind of life in Pondicherry, except when the temple processions are going on. We like being part of this old neighborhood and seeing the same faces every day. We just keep things simple.
