Advance Chemicals Industries

Advance Chemicals Industries is located on Thirukanur Road in Kalitheertalkuppam. Our facility actually covers several plots like 92/5, 92/6, 92/7, and 93/12. It is a bit of a spread-out place because of how we added sections over the years as we needed more space for the vats and the storage drums. Working with chemicals in this part of the country means dealing with a lot of heat most months. We spend a lot of time checking the labels and making sure everything is sitting in the right spot. I usually get here early before the sun gets too high to see what needs to be moved out to the trucks. The road outside can get quite dusty when the lorries go by, but inside we try to keep things as orderly as possible. There are about ten of us working here regularly. We don’t really do much advertising or anything because the people who need what we make already know where to find us. Lunch is usually spent sitting on the benches in the shade near the back gate. It’s a quiet life in some ways but the work itself is heavy and requires a lot of attention. We’ve been at this location for a long time and the locals in Kalitheertalkuppam are used to seeing our workers heading home at the end of the shift. It is just a standard factory setup and we keep at it day after day.
