We are located at Plot No. 3 Ganpat Awash in Naini, Prayagraj. A lot of people still use the old name Allahabad. Our work is centered on fish. It is a wet and messy job most of the time. You spend your whole day near the ponds. They require a lot of attention. You have to monitor the oxygen levels and the feed constantly. If you get lazy, you can lose an entire season’s work. It is a heavy responsibility to carry. Our office is just a tiny room in the 211008 area. We don't need much space for paper. Most of our real work happens outdoors. Prayagraj has decent water, which is good for the fish. We have been operating here for several years now. The weather really dictates how the fish behave. In the cold months, they are very quiet. During the summer, we have to be very careful about the water levels dropping. It is not a flashy life. We are usually in rubber boots from morning till night. The families living in Ganpat Awash are our neighbors. They have gotten used to our daily routines. Sometimes we sell to the local vendors, and other times we have big harvests. It gets loud for a day and then goes back to being silent. We like the quiet times. It is steady, honest work. Keeping the ponds healthy is our main goal. It takes a lot of effort every day to manage it.
