We are based out here in Panch Singhea Khurd, right in the Singhia Khurd area. It is a quiet place where we spend most of our days looking after the fish ponds. Exel Fisheries Developer Private Limited was started because there is a lot of water around here and we thought it made sense to use it. Most of us grew up around these parts and we know the land pretty well. Our daily routine involves checking the water levels and making sure the fish are getting fed right. It isn’t always easy, especially when the weather gets too hot or if there’s too much rain in the village, but we manage. We aren't a big office with fancy desks or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find us near the water or talking to the other folks in the Tola. The work is physical and we often go home with muddy boots. We try to keep things simple and just focus on growing healthy fish. People around here know where to find us if they need anything. We’ve been at this for a while now and the ponds have become a big part of our life. It’s just honest work in the village. Sometimes the fish grow fast and other times it takes longer than we expect, but that is just how it goes with nature. We don't have a long history to tell, just the day-to-day stuff we do right here in Singhia Khurd.
