We are based in Meja Khash in Allahabad. If you are looking for us, we are right near the handpump. Kamala Kar Singh is the one who runs the place. We are a village-based construction company and we like it that way. We don't have a big office building with air conditioning. We work where the work is. Most of the people who work for us are from the same village or nearby. We are like a big family in a way. We build for the people we know. That means we have to be very careful with the quality of our work. You cannot hide a mistake from someone you see every day at the market. We do all sorts of building jobs, from small walls to houses. It is mostly physical labor and it can be very tiring. But we take pride in it. We don't have any marketing people or salespeople. We just do the work and people find us. Sometimes the weather in Allahabad is very hot and we have to start very early in the morning to get things done. We don't mind it much. It is just the way life is here. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to provide for our families and do a good job for our neighbors. It is a simple life and we are content with what we have built.
