Sharma Clinic

We have been operating our clinic here in Rajapur for a good while now. It’s a local place through and through. We aren't tucked away in some big hospital complex; we are right here where people live and walk every day. The space is fairly small, just enough for a waiting area and the room where we do the consultations. We’ve got some old chairs that we probably should have replaced years ago, but they still hold up. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few health charts and a calendar someone gave us last year. It’s a quiet spot, which I think people appreciate when they aren't feeling their best. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or expensive machines. We just use what we have to help the people who walk through the door. Most of our patients are from right here in Rajapur, so we see the same families over and over. You get to know people’s stories after a while. We don't spend any money on fancy marketing or websites. Word of mouth is how everyone finds us. If one person has a good experience, they tell their neighbor, and that's enough for us. It’s a very basic setup, but it’s honest work. We open up the doors early and stay until the work is done. It’s just a regular part of the community here in Rajapur and we plan to stay that way.
