Shambudev Constructions Private Limited

We work out of a place care of Kanchan Devi over in Taraon, right on the Dhohata Road in Koraon. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, which is fine by us. Shambudev Constructions Private Limited is a small operation. We handle local building jobs, mostly houses and small repairs that people need done. My morning starts early, usually with a cup of tea before heading out to the site. The road here can be a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of staff in uniforms. It’s just us and some tools. I spend a lot of time talking to the workers and making sure we have enough cement for the day. Sometimes the rains stop us for a week, and we just have to wait it out. It’s the way construction goes in these parts. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs a wall fixed or a new roof, they come find us at the house in Taraon. We don't spend money on big ads. Most of our work comes from neighbors telling each other that we did a decent job. It's a quiet life but we stay busy enough. The office is really just a desk in the corner where the ledger lives. We're more comfortable on the scaffolding than behind a computer screen anyway. That is just how we do it.
