Our office is actually at House Number 85 in Udaychandrapur village. It’s near Ismailganj in the Phaphamau area of Allahabad. It’s a pretty quiet place compared to the main city center. We started this project company to handle local work in and around the district. Being based in a village means we are very close to the land and the people we actually work with every day. We don't have a big glass office in a skyscraper somewhere. It’s just a regular house that we’ve converted for our business needs. We deal with various projects, mostly focusing on things that need doing in the local community. There’s a lot of coming and going of workers and trucks throughout the day. My family lives nearby, so it has a real community feeling. We know everyone on the street by their first names. When we aren't out at a project site, we are sitting here going over the numbers and making sure the costs are right. It’s honest, practical work. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here in the village, but we manage to get our emails sent and our records kept in order. We take some pride in just getting things finished without a lot of fuss or drama. People in Phaphamau know us well, which is how we like to operate. It’s not a fancy corporate life, but it suits our team just fine. We keep tools in the back and plans on the table.
