You can find Manav Law House (Mlh) near Prithvi Garden, just opposite Dr. Chandra's Eye Clinic on Elgin Road. It’s a decent spot in Civil Lines. We’ve been operating from here for a good while. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our stock of legal books and documents. We spend our mornings sorting through new arrivals and our afternoons helping whoever walks in. Being near the clinic means people use it as a landmark to find us. Civil Lines is a bit quieter than other parts of town, which is nice. We have a lot of shelves, and they are usually packed tight. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific title because we have so many. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly hear about us from other lawyers or students. The shop has a bit of an old smell, like paper and ink. It’s just how bookshops are. We try to keep the place tidy, but when new shipments come in, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. That’s just part of the job. We stay here at Elgin Road throughout the week. It’s a simple business. We sell law books, and that’s about it. Nothing fancy, just practical. We’ve got some old chairs if you need to sit while you wait. It’s nice to have the clinic nearby because everyone knows where it is. We don't even have to give a full address most of the time.
