Our business is situated at House Number 6 in Chhechhua, Uparhar, which is under the Koirauna police station in Tehsil Soraon. It is a bit of a rural setting, and we operate right out of the local area. Vinod Kumar Singh is who you would look for if you came by. We do construction and tech-related work in the building sector. Being in Soraon, we are away from the big city noise, which suits the way we work. It is a very hands-on business. Most of our days are spent traveling to different sites across the tehsil to check on the progress of various structures. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning; we work where the projects are. There is a lot of coordination involved with local laborers and getting supplies to some of the more remote spots. We deal with the basics every day, like making sure the cement mix is right and the measurements are accurate. It is hard, physical work that doesn't leave much time for sitting around. We have built a reputation in Chhechhua by just being there and getting the jobs done. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just local people building things for other local people. It is a practical life, and we are satisfied with doing a solid day’s work for a fair outcome. We just keep going until the project is finished.
