M Sons General Store

M Sons General Store is right on Noorullah Road, not too far from the Mustafa Complex. Being in Allahabad means we deal with some very hot summers. The shop is in a busy part of Gtb Nagar. We keep a variety of things because you never know what someone might ask for. One person wants a lightbulb, and the next wants a packet of chips. It gets pretty loud outside with all the rickshaws and bikes going past. We’ve been here for a while, and the name is something we take pride in, though it's just us working here. The shelves are packed with everything from soap to notebooks. Sometimes it’s a bit messy, especially on delivery days when boxes are sitting on the floor. We try to organize it when there’s a quiet moment. We’ve got a lot of regulars from the nearby houses. They stop in while they are out for a walk. We aren't trying to be a big department store. We just want to make sure the people on Noorullah Road have a place to get their daily items without going too far. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we're too busy to get to it. It’s just a honest local shop. We stay open until the sun goes down and the street lights come on, making sure the basic needs are met.
