Kartikey Civil Construction Private Limited is based right on Muir Road in Allahabad. If you’ve been to the 211001 area, you probably know the vibe around here. It’s got that old-school feel but with a lot of new things popping up. We’ve been operating from 46C/3C for a while. We do civil construction, which basically means we are always dealing with dirt, cement, and laborers. It’s not a glamorous job. You spend a lot of time worrying about the price of materials and whether the rain is going to ruin the schedule. Allahabad is a place where you have to know people to get things done, and we’ve been around long enough to have those connections. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to keep the files and meet up before heading out to a site. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that posted on the wall. We just want to finish the work we started so we can move on to the next one. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life in Uttar Pradesh. We are a small team and we prefer it that way. It makes it easier to keep track of what is happening on each project without things getting too complicated. Just local people doing building work. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
